- Drink lots of water- It’s important to stay hydrated especially in the heat
- Wear loose clothing- Sunscreen is good, but add extra protection from clothes
- Eye protection- Use polarised sunglasses that are designed to help protect your eyes from UVA and UVB rays
- Sun Hat- A wide brim hat can give additional protection to the head and face area
- Shade- Try to seek shade wherever possible. This will not only protect you, but help you keep cool
- Choose when to go out- If you can, avoid being out when the sun is at its peak (usually 11am- 4pm)
