What do you sleep on?
One of the best decisions I made for my skin and hair a few years back, was to stop sleeping on cotton pillow cases. Why you may ask? Friction. And lots of it.
Movements during our sleep will cause the skin to crease and tug. This doesn’t help when it comes to wrinkles over time! The constant friction on your hair is also the cause of frizz, and where that look of ‘bed head’ comes from!
So what’s a better alternative? Silk or Satin pillowcases.
Although they are different fibres, there’s no doubt they both have their own benefits. So let’s take a look at some of those:
